Vaccinated outside Norway will be able to enter freely

Norway changes its rules very often and they are hard to keep track of. The latest news, slipped into the regulations, is the possibility of entry for people fully vaccinated outside Norway. At the moment this is not possible, but the rules already provide for this possibility in the future. There is also a strong chance that from Poland you will be able to enter Norway regardless of vaccination status from 21.06. Read the details and share with friends.

⚠️ WHAT ARE THE COVID STATISTICS FOR POLAND?
Current statistics from 14.06 at 10:30 are approx. 14,0 new cases per 100.000 inhabitants over the last 14 days. The percentage of positive tests is already below 1.

⚠️ ENTRY FROM POLAND TO NORWAY FOR TOURISTS AND WITHOUT QUARANTINE FROM 21.06?
If low infection rates remain roughly until 18.06, we can expect such a decision from FHI. The decision will most likely be presented on 18.06, approved by the government on 20.06, with effect from 21.06. If that happens, every resident of Poland will be able to enter Norway from Poland regardless of status (tourists, families, unvaccinated, for work – it does not matter)

⚠️ PEOPLE VACCINATED ABROAD WILL BE ABLE TO ENTER NORWAY
The regulation of 11.06 gave us another exception. People fully vaccinated, or those who have had COVID-19 within the last 6 months from receiving a positive test, will be able to enter Norway. They will be able to enter from the moment Norway approves EU certificates, which is due to happen later in June and at the latest by 1 July. There is a conference on this topic today at 15.00. This means that (provided, of course, the rules are not changed) from the moment EU certificates come into force, anyone fully vaccinated for one week with an EU certificate will be able to enter Norway (from the Schengen area).
