VIP Consultation with Aleksander Marianski
Some matters cannot be handled by a standard service from a price list. A company operating in two countries, and the question of where a permanent establishment actually arises. A planned restructuring where a single signature can shift the tax bill by hundreds of thousands of kroner. An audit where the tax office sees things differently than you do.
This service is for matters like those. You talk to me directly - Aleksander Marianski, authorised accountant (autorisert regnskapsfører) - get a concrete answer with the legal basis cited, and know what to do next. I hold consultations in Polish, Norwegian and English.
What I specialise in
My practice is mainly:
- International business matters - operations run in Norway and Poland at the same time, a company's tax residence, permanent establishment (fast driftssted), cross-border flows between companies, posting of workers, the double taxation treaty in practice
- Tax and optimisation - AS, ENK, choosing and changing the legal form, taking money out of the company (salary, dividends, utbytte), VAT in cross-border trade, tax planning: structuring your affairs lawfully so that you pay no more than the rules require, and so that it holds up under an audit
- Advisory for small and medium-sized businesses - company structure and growth, mergers and acquisitions, profitability assessment of planned ventures, decisions where the consequences are worth calculating before you commit
- Disputes and atypical situations - retroactive corrections, disagreements with Skatteetaten, requests for binding rulings, cases where two authorities in two countries have contradictory expectations
If your matter fits a standard service - annual tax return, benefit application, company registration - you will find it in our offer, and it will simply cost you less.
How it works
1. A brief outline of the matter by email. Before we schedule a call, describe the matter to me at olek@efirma.no: what is going on, what the facts are, and what exactly you need. Attach documents if you have them - contracts, decisions from the authorities, financial statements, correspondence. This is not a formality. A well-described matter means I come to the call already prepared, and we do not spend your time establishing the basics.
2. Analysis. I go through the matter and the documents, and check the rules and the authorities' practice where needed. This usually takes 15-30 minutes.
3. Online consultation. We talk by phone or video, at a time we agree together. You get answers to your questions, an assessment of the risks, and a concrete recommendation on what to do next.
The analysis and the call usually fit within a single hour - hence the rule that roughly 15-30 minutes goes into preparation and the rest is left for talking with you. For extensive matters, I will tell you in advance if more time is needed.
Price and billing
3000 kr net per hour (+ 25% VAT).
- I bill the actual time spent on your matter: reviewing the material, the consultation itself, and any further work. Every hour started counts as a full hour.
- Clients using our authorised accounting services at Efirma Regnskap AS - the consultation is added to your next accounting invoice. Do not order the service here! Email me instead: olek@efirma.no.
- All other clients - the first hour is prepaid. If the matter turns out to require more time, we always agree on it before I go any further.
Waiting time
Usually a few days.
What to prepare
The better the description, the more you get out of the call. Write concisely, but concretely:
- What the facts are - what is happening, where, and since when
- What questions you want to ask, and what decision depends on the answers
- What you have already done or found out in this matter
- The documents that matter
You do not need to write an essay. It is enough that I understand the situation and know what matters to you.
