Review of Skattemelding / Skatteoppgjør documents
Skattemelding – the Norwegian tax return.
Skatteoppgjør – the assessment issued after the tax return has been submitted.
If you think there is an error in your return or would like to check additional deductions – this service is for you. As experienced accountants, we will carefully review your return to see whether you may be entitled to additional tax deductions and assess the accuracy of the return received from the tax office. All this so that you can obtain the highest possible tax refund.
NOTE: This service consists of recalculating the tax and checking the accuracy of the document prepared by Skatt! If you want us to complete your tax return, use this service (click here).
What does the service include?
As part of the service, we check, among other things:
- the amount of reported income: whether the correct amounts are shown and whether all employers have submitted information to the tax office regarding the income you earned,
- the amount of tax advance payments you have made,
- the amount of the granted minstefradrag, related to the months spent in Norway,
- the amounts of interest paid on loans in Norway,
- the amounts of interest on savings,
- deductions for trade union contributions or additional pension contributions
- deductions for a single parent
During a telephone consultation, we carry out an interview to determine possible deductions and calculate any refund.
NOTE: As part of the service, we do not complete or provide guidance on how to fill in Skattemelding.
