Buypass – when is it essential?
Buypass makes many tasks in Norway easier. It gives access to public services requiring a higher level of authorisation – e.g. NAV. Many institutions require Buypass, for example, to sign a contract electronically.
What is Buypass?
Buypass is a digital citizen identifier. It is a security measure that allows you to sign agreements digitally, receive confidential information from public authorities, and make more significant official changes without having to visit the office in person. With Buypass, we can also submit an application to NAV or Skatteetaten.
It is similar to an electronic ID card – it confirms our identity in a secure and authentic way.
What does the service include?
The service includes:
- Contact regarding information
- Ordering codes
- Information about waiting time and the further procedure
- Help in case of problems with BankID
NOTE: We are not responsible for sending the codes or for problems with their delivery. The service only covers acting as an intermediary between you and the authority.
