Where to go on holiday? WARNING from 19.07 ferry Denmark->Norway = quarantine!

⚠️ GREEN COUNTRIES FROM 19.07 ⚠️

A few days ago I shared the forecasts for the green countries; now they have been officially announced. The most important rules – green = no quarantine and you can enter for tourism from that country, orange, red = quarantine and no possibility of tourist entry, dark red – the first part of quarantine is additionally in a hotel.

⚠️ WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT A COUNTRY IS GREEN?
It means that you can travel from it to Norway without quarantine. Residents of that country can come to Norway for tourism or for any other purpose without entry restrictions. This means above all that you can freely go there on holiday. It is important that you have spent the last 10 days before crossing the Norwegian border in a green country (the whole of Norway is ALWAYS considered green, regardless of the colours assigned to it by ECDC).

⚠️ WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT A COUNTRY IS ORANGE OR RED?
It means that you can enter from that country only if you live in Norway or meet another exception. In addition, you must complete quarantine at your place of residence in Norway (10 days, with the possibility of shortening it after a negative test on day 7).

⚠️ WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT A COUNTRY IS DARK RED, PINK, GREY?
The rules are the same as for arrival from red countries, and in addition you spend the first 3 days of quarantine in a hotel. After a negative test after 3 days of quarantine, you are entitled to complete the rest of the quarantine at home. The rest of the quarantine is completed under the same rules as for red countries.

3. If a given country or region changes to red during your stay there – you are subject to quarantine when returning
4. Poland is still green – tourist entry to Norway from Poland is possible safely, e.g. by direct flight, with a layover in green regions, by car using a ferry departing from a green region (including: Poland->Sweden, Germany->Norway, Germany->Sweden – all ferries). WARNING – the Denmark->Norway ferry from 19.07 will involve quarantine and tourist entry this way will not be possible.
5. Details and rules as usual in the pinned post – I encourage you to read it
6. You can leave Norway for any of the countries or regions (the journey must be safe, e.g. by plane). If at the time of return it is green – you are not subject to quarantine; if red or otherwise – you are subject to quarantine.
7. You are vaccinated or have had COVID within the last half-year – there is no quarantine from any of the regions. You need an EU certificate and the colours mentioned above do not apply to you. You can also enter Norway for tourism.
