Registering a profile in Altinn
If you want to work in Norway, or already do, you should definitely set up a profile in Altinn. The Altinn.no website and a profile on it are essential for correctly reporting information to the authorities, as well as for contacting them and receiving messages about our taxes or other official information. This will reduce your contact with the authorities and allow you to carry out most tasks online.
Registration should be completed after obtaining a D-nummer and again after obtaining a permanent personal number (fødselsnummer).
