Kildeskatt 25% (PAYE) – who benefits? The most important information

⚠️ KILDESKATT 25% (PAYE) – MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION! WHO IS PROFITABLE? ⚠️

⚠️ WHEN CAN I USE THIS?
There are three limits:
– as long as you do not meet the regulations regarding permanent residence in Norway (minimum 183 days a year in Norway), you can benefit from kildeskatt 25%. You can also use it in the year in which you exceeded the limits of your stay. Next, the office should automatically assign a normal card.
– until your earnings exceed 651.250kr (for 2021) you can also use it, after exceeding this amount, switch to standard settlement.
– as long as you have no other taxable income, such as sickness benefit, unemployment benefit or parental benefits.

⚠️ ADVANCEMENTS AND SETTLEMENT:
With 25% tax for foreign workers, the most important rules are:
– fixed tax advances in the amount of 25% of income,
– no obligation to settle annual accounts,
– no refunds and tax subsidies,
– no deductions possible,
– discounts such as “half an advance payment before Christmas” do not apply.

⚠️ WHEN IS IT NOT PROFITABLE AND IS IT WORTH SWITCHING TO STANDARD BILLING?
It is worth waiving the 25% kildeskatt (PAYE) if you earn less than 40.000 kr/month (480.000 kr/year).

I discussed this topic in more detail in my video about kildeskatt 25%, which I encourage you to watch - https://youtu.be/UF4gBImUi2c

⚠️ HOW TO SWITCH TO STANDARD BILLING?
If you know from the previous point that kildeskatt is not profitable for you and you have decided to change - we can help you switch to standard settlement, thanks to which you will receive a refund for 2021 and you can change your tax card up to 3 years back, so you can receive a refund also for last year!
