Buypass makes many activities in Norway easier. It gives access to official services with a required higher level of authorization – e.g. NAV. Many institutions require Buypass, e.g. to sign a contract electronically.
What is Buypass?
Buypass is a digital citizen ID. It is a security measure that allows you to sign contracts digitally, receive confidential information from offices, and also change more important official data without having to go to the office. Thanks to Buypass, we can also submit an application to NAV or Skatteetaten.
It is something like an electronic ID card - it certifies our identity in a safe and authentic way.
