By car Poland - Norway requirements, tests, rules

⚠️ TRANSPORT POLAND – NORWAY – REQUIREMENTS, TESTS RULES AND OTHER CORONAVIRUS NEWS ⚠️

In this post, I will discuss the current rules for traveling Poland-Norway and Norway-Poland by car with the rules in Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Poland and Norway, and I will briefly mention Poland's COVID statistics.

⚠️ COVID STATISTICS – TOTAL NO QUARANTINE FROM POLAND SOON?
Statistics as of June 8.06 are approximately 22,5 new cases per 100.000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. The trend continues to decline. We can also count on a complete lack of quarantine with increasing probability. FHI did not announce a decision date. There is a conference tomorrow, June 9.06, at 14.00 p.m., but the topic will be the Janssen vaccine, so we can expect a decision at the end of the week. We keep our fingers crossed :)

⚠️ CAR TRANSFER POLAND – NORWAY – REGULATIONS OF SELECTED COUNTRIES
Here we assume that we start the journey in a private car from Poland and end in Norway, the regulations for the other way can be found below.
⏭ SWEDEN – you can take a ferry. Regardless of the route, you must have a negative antigen, PCR or LAMP test. Vaccinations and recovered status by June 30.06 do not release you from this obligation. The test must be performed (sample taken) 48 hours before crossing the border. Children under 18 are exempt from the test requirement. The test must be in a language that Swedes understand - English or Scandinavian. Checks on the Swedish border from Denmark and Poland are frequent.
⏭ GERMANY – transit is possible and does not require a test. Border controls are sporadic. You must have some proof that your destination is not Germany - e.g. a rental contract from Norway. An oral declaration will also often be sufficient.
⏭ DENMARK – transit is possible. You must have a negative antigen or PCR test 48 hours (sample collection) before crossing the border. Children under 14 years of age are exempt from the test. Vaccinated people (based on documentation confirming vaccination, no matter where) and recovered patients (based on a positive PCR test result or other reliable documentation up to 6 months ago) are exempt from the test.
⏭ NORWAY – you must have a negative antigen or PCR test performed 24 hours (sample collection) before crossing the border. Quarantine is in force - currently at home. Typically, transit without overnight stay does not change the entry rules compared to those applicable from Poland (but unfortunately there is no uniform interpretation). Full set of rules in the pinned post.

⚠️ CAR TRANSFER NORWAY – POLAND – REGULATIONS OF SELECTED COUNTRIES
⏭ SWEDEN – transit is possible. Tests are not required at all. Border controls are sporadic.
⏭ GERMANY – transit is possible and does not require a test. Border controls are sporadic. Here, an ID card or passport is enough to sufficiently prove that your destination is not Germany.
⏭ POLAND – you do not need to have a negative test to enter. The test will also not be required on the ferry. A negative antigen or PCR test performed 48 hours (receiving the result - unlike in other countries) before crossing the border exempts you from quarantine. You can also be released from quarantine by taking a test 48 hours after crossing the border. Fully vaccinated people are also exempt from quarantine - they do not have to take the test.
